In Leviticus 23:15-16 we are instructed to count the days from the day of Firstfruits, the day Yeshua rose from the dead, to Shavuot, the day the Ruakh Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) was poured out on the followers of Yeshua. This count is traditionally known as "Counting the Omer" (omer is the Hebrew word for the container that held the Firstfruits offering). What does the L-rd want His people to learn from counting the omer? What significant things happened in our spiritual history that He wants us to remember as we count? What does He want to accomplish in our lives by His Spirit during this special season. Rabbi Jim answers these questions in this teaching given on April 30, 2016.
